I did not make it to Stake Conference due to the snow. So went wandering on Facebook, looking for inspiration and found this! This is from Terri Jeppson; she is LDS and I had liked her Facebook page last year. She has so many fun and inspiring thoughts that I share on my page. And I thought it would work for today for our blog.
It is so easy to get caught up with the world and want more than we can afford. Like I used to say "Champagne tastes on a Beer Budget"!!! We need to learn to separate what we truly need from what we want. This can cover all levels of our lives including church when you think about it.
What do we need to Come Closer to the Lord? More praying fervently? More service giving? More Temple going? More time with family? More seeking of truth? More repenting? More scripture study?
More! More! More! Sounds overwhelming huh? But line by line, precept by precept, baby step by baby step, we become stronger in the Gospel.
Line by line, precept by precept, baby step by baby step, we come Closer to the Lord.
