Easter Thoughts

Hello Sisters,
I hope that the talks Sunday helped bring peace to you.
This time of year there is so much change....we are leaving winter behind, spring is finally here, our children are itching to get outside to play and we want them too!
Easter is the time of year for renewal. We think about our Saviors' gift to us. He died on the cross so that we may live. How powerful is that message? Heavenly Father and our Elder Brother, Jesus Christ worked together so we can find our way home again.
I keep thinking about what Sister Jean Stevens said in her talk in Conference. It still resonates with me. I hope you don't mind me repeating again: " The gospel of Jesus Christ is not a checklist of things to do; rather, it lives in our hearts. The gospel “is not weight; it is wings.”⁴ It carries us."
The Atonement gives to us the best gift......the opportunity to repent and move forward. We can let go and find the peace we are seeking. The peace of the Gospel lifts us up and helps us to find our balance.
I hope you find the peace you need in your life. I hope you come to know the peace the Gospel brings. I hope you know how deeply you are loved by Heavenly Father.
